Description Heat n Bond Lite Pack – 43cm x 1.1m 43cm x 1.1m (17”x1.25yd) Heat n Bond Lite is a paper-backed lightweight adhesive designed for projects that require the bonding of lightweight fabrics and materials. Once applied, it can be easily sewn through, making it ideal for appliques, quilts, and other sewing and lightweight craft projects. With Heat n Bond Lite: – Needles won’t gum up, – Appliques won’t pucker – There’s no added stiffness – Projects can be safely washed after edges are sewn or sealed with paint. More information   Ideal for making applique Warning: requires reverse your drawing to reproduce identical to the model.   1. Pre-heat iron to silk (low heat) setting without steam. Place adhesive, paper side up on the back (or wrong side) of material to be bonded. 2. Place and hold iron on paper side of adhesive for 2 seconds. Repeat by gliding iron to a new area and pressing, slightly overlapping previous area until entire surface is bonded. Allow material to cool. 3. Cut to desired size or shape (if necessary). Peel off paper backing. 4. Place material, adhesive side down, in desired position on top of project. Press and hold iron for 8-10 sec. on each section until entire piece is bonded. 5. Sew along the edges of the item that was ironed down for permanent bond. Item is machine washable after edges are sealed with stitching. Tips: To Remove: Try using an adhesive remover or taking item to the dry cleaner (who uses PERC). Washing: Delicate wash cold/cold. Tumble dry delicate cycle low heat. Do not dry clean.
