SW-MOTECH crashbars are designed to provide maximum protection, optical integration, and high-quality fit and finish. Fits both standard height and “S” model of the LC8 Adventure 950 and 990. All components are protected against corrosion by sandblasting and powdercoating. High-strength frame mounting points. No cutting or welding is required for installation. Constructed of 26.9 mm outer-diameter mild steel tubing. Installation note: The current revision of these crashbars (rev. 2) clears each of the fuel petcocks by approximately 5 mm (see pictures on this page). If you notice that one of the petcocks has greater clearance (maybe 8-10 mm) and the opposite petcock has less clearance (maybe 0-2 mm), then your rubber-mounted fuel tank is bolted on off-center. Loosen the bolts holding the tank in place and shift the tank so that the crashbar-to-petcock clearances are the same on both the left and right sides of the bike, then re-tighten your tank attachment bolts.
