SW-MOTECH Transalp 750 Engine Guard & Bash Plate This bash plate has been specially developed for the XL 750 Transalp. Handmade in Germany for superior off road protection of vital engine components. The engine guard has been carefully crafted to follow the lines of the Transalp’s motor, creating a low profile suit of engine armor, without loss of ground clearance. Heavy duty aircraft grade aluminum reduces weight yet does not sacrifice on protection. Solid frame mounting points lends additional stability and allows for easy installation. Designed to wrap around the engine block to protect exhaust headers, oil sump, lower casing and vital hoses. Benefits of the Honda XL 750 Transalp engine guard & bash plate: Undercarriage guard of 4 mm and black side walls of 2.5 mm thick aluminum for maximum protection and engine ventilation. Where the base plates and side plates overlap, it forms a riveted 6.5 mm-thick rail for extra rigidity. This engine guard is designed to attach onto frame load-bearing mounting points, for further peace of mind. Protects exhaust headers, leading edge of transmission, sump, stator case & filters. Recessed hardware. Laser cut side ventilation. Underbody protection from rock chips and collision Recess for the oil drain plug allows easy oil change without removal of the engine guard.
